July 17th: Best of Portland Block Party

DJ Le’Mix spins tunes, Beam Suntory mixes drinks, Pip’s fries up donuts and Belle’s Feast serves up fried chicken and hush puppies. All proceeds benefit Girls on the Run of Portland Metro. If an appeal to philanthropy isn’t enough, there’ll be goat yoga and a dunk tank”

“Now in its 38th year, the festival is the longest running jazz and blues festival west of the Mississippi River. The Festival is a major musical event in the heart of summer for the Portland Metro area, and features the region’s best local jazz and blues musicians. It also fosters cooperation and pride in the north Portland neighborhoods of Cathedral Park and St. Johns, and recognizes and promotes the community’s local businesses.”

July 20th: Mortified Portland @ The Alberta Rose Theater

“Witness a night of adults telling stories about their lives by sharing their most mortifying childhood artifacts (diaries, letters, lyrics, poems, home movies)… in front of total strangers. “The Oregon Brewers Festival will celebrate its 31st annual event this summer! The festival will serves 80 beers from craft breweries, including five this year from Baja, California, Mexico. For the first time ever, the festival will also offer two ciders and a red and white wine in addition to the 80 beers.”

July 29th: July Flea + Food

“We’re a monthly gathering place for the creators, curators and collectors of Portland’s best vintage, handmade, functional art, & locally-sourced goods. Plus!
