Where are you from? What brought you to Portland?
I was born in Las Vegas, NV and raised primarily outside of Philadelphia, in beautiful Bucks County, PA. I’ve lived in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, the Philly burbs, Boulder, San Francisco, Aspen, and now Portland.
I came to Portland on a what was supposed to be a 1 year, NW adventure in my mid-20’s. The quality of life and potential for the city drew me in and I’ve never looked back.
What do you like most about working at Urban Works?
I enjoy the camaraderie we have as a company and that everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed.
What do you feel makes Urban Works Portland’s premier commercial real estate company?
The depth and range of experience of our broker team is very unique. From architecture to construction, development, restaurants, hospitality, corporate America, to running a small business; many of our brokers have worked in the very industries that we now service. The team approach we bring to each tenant requirement, leasing assignment and sale transaction allows us to tap into all that knowledge and deliver the best results for our clients.
What’s your favorite restaurant and why?
I’m a big Serratto fan. Great atmosphere, service and food. From early dates with my wife, to our rehearsal dinner, to dining with our infant daughter on a barstool, to holiday dinners, and a rowdy surprise Birthday party; Serratto has always been a place for great memories.
What do you like to do on weekends?
Cook breakfast and spend the mornings with my wife and kiddos.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I’d have to say time travel. I have a great life. There are a lot of things I’d like to go back and do all over again, just for fun.
