Craig Sweitzer, Founder & Owner After working for national brokerage companies for 15 years, Craig founded and opened Urban Works Real Estate in 2002. The idea of leading a good group of people towards a common goal was exciting and timely as Portland embraced the restoration and redevelopment of the city and central neighborhoods. The continued flexibility of creating new brokerage systems and networks based on local knowledge with the added challenge of growing a quality brokerage group has been rewarding. Craig’s team approach to securing brokerage assignments is a difference that most customers recognize immediately in the form of good service. All brokers at Urban Works are company employees working towards the common goal of what is best for our clients. As a native Portlander raised and schooled in southeast and northeast neighborhoods, Craig has always been an advocate for city neighborhoods and the critical role they play in making our city interesting and unique. Craig always enjoys great food, music, close friends and time with his wife Linda and their two children Jack and Maria.

Linda Elorriaga-Sweitzer, CFO Before joining Urban Works Real Estate as Chief Financial Officer, Linda owned and operated one of the largest office furniture businesses in Oregon before selling it to Boise Cascade Corporation. Linda’s supervision of operating budgets, growth margins and long term financial planning have helped Urban Works to grow at a faster pace than what was initially conceived. Prior to her commitment to Urban Works, Linda had sales and management positions at US West Communications in Seattle after graduating with honors from the University of Oregon with both a statistics and business management degrees. In addition, she continues to oversee the management of various investment properties for a private family trust. When Linda is not untangling brokerage payroll, she can often be located on a tennis court playing for one of her two tennis teams, walking Louie in the park and organizing the daily activity of Jack & Maria.
