Urban Works helps bring H MART to the Belmont Dairy Building

The Asian/Korean Grocer fills the 21,124 SF Space in SE Portland's Belmont District

Urban Works Real Estate and Belmont Dairy LLC are pleased to announce that H MART has leased 21,124 SF of ground-floor retail space in the Belmont Dairy located in SE Portland’s thriving Belmont District.  Urban Works brokers Dan Bozich and Brian Greeley teamed with the Belmont Dairy owners  to bring the premier Asian/Korean food market to the nationally-recognized mixed-use project.

Belmont Dairy was formerly home to Zupan’s Market, which closed its doors in January. “The vacancy left this neighborhood in need of a new, fresh and affordable grocer. We believe H MART is the perfect fit for Belmont and all of the close-in neighborhoods of urban Portland,” said Dan Bozich. H MART will become the retail anchor of the building, joining established businesses Eye Styles, Propaganda Hair Salon, Rendez Vous, and the Hobnob Grill.

The Belmont Dairy building is located at 3301 SE Belmont Street in the heart of the Belmont District in Southeast Portland. Originally built in 1929, this former dairy facility was transformed in 1996 into an award-winning mixed-use redevelopment with 85 apartments housed above retail storefronts.

H MART is a large Asian/Korean grocer with 75 locations nationwide and three locations in Oregon, including one in Tigard, and two in Beaverton.
