Sizzle Pie named Best Independent Pizzeria by Pizza Today, opening location in New York City.
Portland’s premier pizza purveyors are topping the competition. Sizzle Pie has just been awarded the distinction of Independent Pizzeria of the Year by the trade publication Pizza Today. This national recognition comes on the heels of Sizzle Pie announcing their plans for a new location…in New York City. The new store in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood will likely open in six to nine months, plenty of time to plan a trip for the grand opening. Until then, you can still enjoy a slice from one of their Portland, Eugene, or Seattle locations. I’ll have mine with pepperoni and olives.
