The Services

We’ve represented large mixed-use projects and small single unit redevelopments.

We can work with developers at the very start of projects helping to guide through zoning, city ordnances, as well as marketing properties for sale, or lease, at any stage of project development.

Slabtown Marketplace Case Study

$46 Million Development

About Slabtown Marketplace

Slabtown Marketplace is a $46 million development, featuring an adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse building and a newly constructed LEED Gold apartment building on one northwest Portland city block. This development is part of the much larger Con-Way Master Plan redevelopment underway in the neighborhood.

Our History with the Development

As a classic example of Urban Works' many hats in and around Portland's real estate world, we started out working on the development side with Brian Greeley, now a broker at Urban Works, on the CE John project development team. After Capstone took over the development, Brian joined Urban Works and became part of our leasing team, bringing a new perspective and insight to our clients about the area, future plans and best uses of space within Slabtown Marketplace.

A District Revivement

At Urban Works, we enjoy bringing in the type of businesses and restaurants that will make you want to live, or travel, to the area for shopping, dining and entertainment. First to open in Slabtown Marketplace is the New Seasons anchor. Most recently Besaw's, a fan favorite, relocated to the development. Next up, the Solo Club & Please Louise Pizza.  Breakside Brewing's opening is coming in the near future!
