Renata is a contemporary Italian restaurant dwelling deriving inspiration from the diverse regional cuisines of Italy and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. After just 6 weeks of being open, The Oregonian awarded Renata with Restaurant of the Year 2015.
Wanted: 4,000 SF Restaurant Space
The owners of Renata were looking for an owner/user opportunity for their new restaurant concept. They were intrigued by the Central Eastside and had hopes of revitalizing the area and help bring in other restaurants and food related businesses.
Found: 10,000 SF Building
Urban Works matched Renata with a Central Eastside building that came as just a shell. To build out spaces for the restaurant and other food businesses Urban Works advised owners on efficient use of space and connected them with experienced architects and contractors. The outcome is a 3 tenant building housing Renata, Ancient Heritage Creamery and Alma Chocolates.
