Urban Row Case Study

Central Eastside redevelopment

About the building

The Urban Row Building (formerly City Sign Co.) is a four-story building comprised of two combined free-standing buildings making the total building area roughly 29,380 square feet. This multi-tenant building offers a wide variety of creative users including a brewery, restaurant, software creation, interior design, photography & art studios. Exposed wood beams, refinished brick and lofty ceilings, share many of the desired characteristics of the burgeoning Central Eastside.

New brewery tenant

Urban Works solicited and qualified a brewery/restaurant group that could operate within the existing UG1 code, negotiated a long term lease, identified a veteran architect that understands the city’s byzantine process/code and a contractor that understood the challenges of a old warehouse conversion and a budget to make the brewery construction a reality.

Opening soon

Wayfinder Beer Company will open a 8,900 square foot facility in the spring of 2016. Guests to Wayfinder will find a 110-seat taphall, a 3,000 square foot patio, a 2,000 square foot bar, 10-barrel brewhouse and wholesale distribution. Cheers!
